Help with a Bianchi 5BHL Holster
Just picked up a brand new Bianchi 5BHL for my 2.5 inch M 66.
Nearly impossible to get the right hand portion which goes over the hammer to snap closed with the revolver in the holster.Snap is ok. Looks like I need a 1/16" more strap for the right side. Any ideas to stretch the strap?

That is quite common with the 5BHL holster. BTW, I really like that holster. Every one I have bought was like you describe. I just dampened the strap well and snapped it over the revolver and let it dry. After a day or two, the strap will have stretched to the proper length.

+1 They are well-made holsters. Once they get broken in, they will hold your gun securely for a long time. Guns rattling around in loose holsters are nasty.

Centenniel nailed it. Let me guess, your revolver has a target hammer? They seem to fit em with a standard hammer and the wider target hammer causes grief. Just went through this with a Bianchi duty holster for a N frame was putting my 25-5 with target hammer in it and ran into the same old thing and fixed it as per Centenniels advise.

Perpetual problem --- the strap will eventually stretch and loosen enough to fit, but it's annoying that Bianchi doesn't make it fit right in the first place...
