Quality Holster Maker
I am a big fan of quality work, that is why I am so partial to Smith and Wessons. Today, I received a new hoster for my 3" M-66. the maker was 'lobogunleather.com' and this man does quality work. I have several custom holsters, mostly all good, but this one rates with the best and the price was much more reasonable than some of the others. If you are looking for a quality custom holster for your pet S&W, or other whatever brand, check him out. Mine is the "Enhanced Avenger" model based on a Bruce Nelson/Charles Askins design. The weight distribution makes it seem like I am not carrying.
Keep the faith and keep shootin'

I have not purchased a holster from Lobo G L yet, but from all the praise he has gotten from members here that have, I can only guess that Ray does a very fine job making holsters. The next time I do need a new holster, I WILL give him a shout.
The last few holsters I have bought have been made by Kramer Leather, and the have been made out of Horsehide Leather. I have had one made for my 2" M60 and a 2" Colt Dick Special and to date these are the two best holsters, belts and bullet pouches I have ever had!
I used to use a man by the name of Bruce Nelson in Arizona, but unfortunately Mr. Nelson has passed many years ago. He was a custom holster maker who would do what ever you wanted as long as he thought it was not unsafe and had merit. I did have him make me 5 rigs and I do still have and use them, but currently, I truly think the Kramer stuff is the best there is, or at least that I have ever seen in my 35 + years of gun totin'.

Chief38:
You have several originals from Mr. Bruce Nelson's hand. There is no finer work available anywhere, at any price. The Kramer products that I have seen exhibit excellent designs and execution, as well.
I appreciate the comments posted by my recent customer (galena) on my efforts to meet his requirements. I also readily acknowledge the influence of many who came to this business before me, including the very talented Bruce Nelson.
I have been making holsters for 39 years, and to have my efforts linked (even casually) with those of Bruce Nelson gives me a great deal of satisfaction. Nothing could be more effective in inspiring me toward meeting the highest expectations of my customers every day.
Best regards.

This thread needs some Lobo pictures. Ray made this one for my 2 1/2" Model 19 last fall. I gave the left-handed Lobo/Threepersons holster to my brother for Christmas for his Model 63. Now, if he would just expand to make holsters for the various Ruger Vaquero barrel lengths.
These holsters are not only utilitarian, they are works of art.
