Leather project what do you think? All critiques welcome. NOW WITH PICTURES!
While I was in st augustine fl last week I went to their tiny tiny gun show and found the case hatchet knife combo. Fellow had a great deal on it so I took it only problem was the leather case was torn on the knife sheath. So I decided to make another case for it. So wednesday morning I drive to tandy leather in jacksonville to work on it and get any help I could. When I arrived they directed me to the open table. When I sat up my things the manager came over and sat with me while I did the project answering my questions. This went on all day. The whole time I was there I never felt like I was in the way. I learned alot with their help and think my second project turned out better than had I tried it on my own. I can't say enough good things about how I was treated. I've already got next years trip planned. Although I spent some money in the store what I got far exceeded what I paid for. If you get a chance stop in and see them. Big thank you to tom paul and frank for all their help. So anyway tell what you think if I can do something better please don't hold back. I have to down loss pictures from my computer later I am having issues with my phone. Doeboy

For those leather crafters and holster makers on the forum: You know what would be just GREAT? Some compact off-duty speedloader pouches made JUST for the smaller J-frame speedloaders. Hint, hint... I'd be willing to pay for a nice set!

I've always been treated well at the Tandy's I go to. I've never actually done a project there, but I've always had my questions answered and received good advice.
I look forward to the pix!

It looks good, but it also looks like you improved on the original design.
