Tulsa finds-mostly Texas gun leather with photos
Here are a few of the pieces I found at the recent Tulsa gun show.
Regards,
turnerriver
C.I. Tibiletti, Victoria Texas.
A new maker for my collection;I had a fine conversation with the collector's wife. She sold me this holster & did a fine job of it-so fine I paid her asking price.Texans sure are proud of all things Texan.
A very fine S.D. Myres holster for an early Woodsman.Full floral carved with dyed background.
An unusual A.W. Brill holster with a hammer protector & full suede leather lining, for a 4"large frame S&W revolver with target sights.
Brill holsters appear small-the one on the right in the 2nd photo is for a medium frame revolver.
Heiser holster with a transitional .22 Official Police.
Regards,
turnerriver

Thanks for sharing.
We went to the gun show in OKC today.
I was kinda dissapointed. Was more a "yard sale" than a "show."
And the prices are high...
Guess we should take the time and go up to Tulsa...

I'm partial to basketweave, so I like the Brills very much.

Very nice leather, indeed. Texas is the place to acquire it.

C.I. Tibiletti
Here is another example of Tibiletti's work, this is a shot shell box carrier and single box carrier that my friend Bruce Hansen had made when he was stationed at Waco Army Air Field sometime in 1944-45.
Bruce was very upset when he picked it up and his name was spelled wrong, he told me that Tibiletti lowered the price but I don't recall the amount.
He was also the Range Officer at the base's trap/skeet range. In 1945 his C.O.
Col. Bob Arnold took the base trap team to the Grand American Trap Shoot, he said the B-17 caused quite a stir when they landed at Vandalia as WW2 was still on and Army planes did not land at public air strips!
