I recently lucked into a free holster given to me as part of a purchase I made. I knew nothing about it, only told I'd be getting a "Slow Bear" revolver holster. Arriving today, I was pleased to find it a quality leather thumb break belt holster, similar to a Bianchi, fitted for a 3" J-frame. Looking up the maker online, I've only been able to find an old eBay auction for a 1911 shoulder holster by the same maker and a comment from a fellow in North Carolina on a truck forum regarding an IWB rig he had "made by an old friend of mine (retired Sheriff dept) who has the tradename 'Slow Bear'."
Anyway, this one's a keeper and I'd like to find out more about the maker if anyone might be familiar with this gentleman from NC and/or his holsters. Thanks in advance.
