"Horror Holster" For My B-I-L's First S&W
My bro-in-law is in his early forties. He bought his first gun and loves shooting it. A S&W 686 with a 3" barrel. He's into horror movies, guitar, cigars, and other things so I decided to make a special holster for him. Since he has The Joker tatooed on his leg, I transfered a pic of Heath Ledger's Joker onto leather by painting it on freehand with modeling brushes and black dye. It's a new twist on how to embellish leather without tooling and now my son wants one,too for the 3913 I gave him. I'll show the finished holster here tomorrow maybe.

Vey impressive. Expect normal wear to the image over time? Imagine possibilities...

I just put a finish spray over it but I think it would wear faster than a tooled holster. I gave my b-i-l an old used S&W marked holster that looked just like a standard Hunter for actual use. But I would't hessitate to use one like this.
