I don't typically associate shoulder holsters with target revolvers but this Heiser model 184 shoulder holster was made specifically for a Colt .32 Officers Model revolver, as evidenced by the maker's etched "32 OM" barely visible in the photo above the owner's etched initials "S.H.Y." (Probably stands for John Fitzgerald or Ed McGivern). My .32 Officers Model fits perfectly, even with the Sanderson stocks. This pouch type holster was in Heiser's line from the first decade of the 1900's right up through the 1950's. The chrome or elk tanned flap is designed to keep sweat off the revolver and to protect your clothes from the hammer.
My .32 has what I believe is a Roper front sight and a target hammer, in addition to the Sanderson stocks. It is obviously a well used target revolver and it shoots as nicely as you would expect it to.
Enjoy the photos.
