Default As much as I like old N frame service revolvers......

............I have always had a fondness for the Browning Hi Power, and never pass up an opportunity to pick up a nice piece of leather for one.

This really nice Unmarked, floral tooled, and laced holster came to me in a trade with a distinguished gentleman from Tejas.

Bill ( Biginge ) was kind enough to let me have a turn at being the caretaker of this one for awhile, and it is darn sure is one of my favorites. Just wish we knew who made it.

Muchas gracias Amigo!

That looks a lot like Lawrence's model 211 holster.

This cut from a 1972 catalog says the model was made for revolvers and automatics although I've never seen one made for an auto.

Whoever made it did a fine job- beautiful holster, thanks for showing it to us.
Regards,
turnerriver

John that Lawrence is amazing. Thank you for posting that one.

The only mark on this one is an upside down R at the bottom of the skirt under the toe of the holster.

I like it Tony. I had to reread your post. Thought you said " extinguished gent from Texas." Old John just may be on to something there? Hope so that is a well done rig. Glad you like it.

Thumbs up

The dyed rawhide lace is a nice understated touch. Outstanding holster.

That is a great lookin' holster Tony. Can't imagine Bill turnin' that one loose. Are there any markings at all on the back?

Another Hi-Power fan here. I just took possession of my third one, a T-series 1968 tangent sight model that came with a vintage holster. I'll try to post a pic this weekend.
