Alien gear holster ordered!
Ordered this morning the Alien gear 2 holster combo for my M&P Shield 9mm. One IWB & the other is OWB. I'm in Texas and anticipating open carry passing.
My current holster is a DeSantis Inside heat for the shield but you can never have enough holsters
Wait time is around 3-4 weeks on the website. Looking forward in checking it out when it arrives.

I ordered one of the Cloak Tucks the other day for the full size M&P a few days ago. Only bad part is the predicted 4 week wait!

I also have the Alien for my Shield. Good holster for the hot & humid weather down here. The backing material is excellent.

Alien Gear holster are quality made right here in America. Good price to boot. I was given a Detective Special holster with all extras to evaluate and give a review online. Well, I never did get to right the review because I was unable to use the holster.
I am a really skinny guy and the holster was just way to big and stiff to contour around my hip. If there are any other skinny people be aware of this before purchasing. I will most likely sell it for a couple bucks at some point.

I have Alien Gear IWB holsters for 3 different guns, 1 is the original leather backed holster. 2 are the cloak 2.
Iprefer the cloak 2.
I went to order A new holster today for the Shield that I picked up yesterday. Went to the site, while I was there I pulled my Sig 229 no rail out of the holster I was wearing.
Viola! The Shield fits in it well and retention is what it should be.
So I am good to go for my Shield.

I'm glad to hear such good reviews from you guys. Yes they are made here in the U.S and they're a small company & the holsters are made to order I guess. A 4 week wait is no biggie. My current holster is a DeSantis "inside heat" for my shield and I live in south texas and I'm concerned about the sweat soaking in the leather. I'm not worried about the melonite finish on these pistols as that stuff is one of the toughest finishes on the market.
I just dont want a stinky holster in my pants

I just got mine in the mail today. I tried it and it does seem pretty comfortable. I put on the "C" clips and will try it out all day tomorrow and see how it feels.

I was kinda hoping the OP would review his Alien Gear holster, I have been considering one of their IWB holsters.
I haven't been able to find a comfortable IWB holster yet.

If your still on the fence about aliengear holsters, trust and believe it's worth the money. Made in USA, lifetime warranty, durable, adjustable tension, free shell trades for life! I had one for my SR1911CMD and ended up selling the gun (it was unreliable) and sent AG the shell and they sent me a new shell for my Shield in about a week free of charge!! I love Ag

I've already made up my mind and went for the AG holster. In fact I have 2 cloak tuck 2's, a OWB and extra shell for my bersa 380, their shipping times from ordering to my mailbox was about 2 weeks and I did a shell exchange, that took about 7 days turnaround for me. I'm glad I did, as this IWB is very comfortable and very concealable. Its a no brainer with their warranty...
