Are they really that good? I tried to order one on their website for my SD9VE, but it says it could take 4-6 weeks. I looked locally and the gun shops in my area don't have anything for my gun. I bought a cheap generic IWB holster and it's terrible. Are there any other options out there? Or should I just order the alien gear and wait?

I got one for Christmas but it didn't get here until some time in Jan. I like it a lot . I think it hides well, and is pretty comfortable .I got the Tuck 3.0

I have a tuck 3. It is a good holster, but not as good as the hype. :-)

If you order one, be sure to plan on wearing pants that are a size larger than you normally wear. It is reasonably comfortable in the right position. And get a good wide belt to use with it.

I use a the Tuck 3.0 with my G19,G23 and S&W K frames, they are very comfortable.

Great holsters for the money. They're backordered because of the burst of interest stemming from the San Bernadino attack (this is not my opinion --- it's what their "sorry we're backordered" email said). Their holsters are an excellent value and pretty well marketed so they're busy!

There are a lot of options for holster manufacturers out there. I own Crossbreed, Fist, Desantis, Simply Rugged, Foxx, and a few more. You may want to spend some time looking in the Gun Leather sub forum for more ideas. Get a good gun belt too - it makes a big difference in comfort.

N82 Tactical are a very well engineered holster. I have one for my Glock 43 and another for a J frame. Both make IWB carrying easy for me

+1 on the N82. I've got their professional model for my Shield and 40c. Very comfortable holster and also very well made. These guys are local to me and I've run into one of the owners at my LGS a couple times. I also have the Alien Gear which is comfortable too but the N82 is the one I carry 99% of the time.

I use Tuckergunleather he is a bit more $$$ but worth every cent. The leather is firm but soft and easy to conceal. All good things take time to make so the time it takes to make the holster is worth the wait. American made.

All of the mentioned firms are good. But, take a review of Simply Rugged Holsters, too. A solid value for what is received. (I have no stake in the firm.)

What are you expecting it to be? The Tuck 3.0 is effective and priced well. After sale warranty support was good in my case. It can be tried and returned if unsatisfactory. It has free Kydex shell swaps if you change guns.

It's not going to be an heirloom, to be proudly passed down to your grandchildren.

My favorite feature that is unique to AG, is the Neoprene backing. Here in South Carolina, where it is warm and humid most of the year, it is comfortable against the skin, and impervious to sweat.

I went ahead and ordered a Foxx IWB black leather holster. Good price, good reviews, free shipping. I need a holster and I can't find one locally. So I'm going with Foxx. Thanks for all the feedback.
