NICE INEXPENSIVE HOLSTER
For those of you retired, and living on a meager pension like yours truly; this idea for an inexpensive home made holster appeared on another forum. Pretty neat I'm thinkin' .

Smell? Easy. Hoppies No. 7! Put it on the gun. Put some on like aftershave! The holster shoe will smell good. You will smell good. Don't worry about your wife! Your dog will not mind when you crawl in the doghouse ... as long as you bring potato chips! Sincerely. bruce.

My dog demands jalapeno/cheddar popcorn as the price of admission. you could put some of that coating on the holster. It would kill the smell.

I tried the aftershave route last time I was in Walmart. I quietly opened a bottle and put a little behind each ear. All I got was a bunch of old farts like me in camo following me around the store.

Several years ago I was taking a firearms course and the instructor/rangemaster did that. He was teaching us how to clean the guns with Hoppes #9, said it could be used as aftershave, and proceeded to demonstrate that by applying some behind his ears. He was a Marine during the Korean War. Cool guy.
