Default Classic Holster Rebuild

Had a cool project come into the shop...

Several weeks ago, an S.D. Myres model 624 came up on fleabay; a classic floral carved Threepersons style with hammer shroud. It was built for a 3.5" N frame, but at some point in its life, someone cut some of the welt out so it could be used with a different gun. My good friend Mike Madbo Hutyra was on it in a flash but someone wanted it worse than he did!

A short time later I was contacted by the buyer and he asked if I could replace the welt. Handling these classic old holsters is always a treat so I jumped at the chance. The pics below tell the rest of the story....
