686+ 2.5 in holsters
Does anyone here carry a 686+ 2.5in barrel? I need an OWB holster and POSSIBLY an IWB. I have a good belt, so weight shouldn’t be an issue.

For IWB check out Tucker Gun Leather's Texas Heritage. I have one for my model 69 which is similar in size.

I paid $75 for the one below on eBay for my 986 2.5" which is the same size. The ad states that it is for a 686+. It is good quality and retains my revolver very well.
The seller is "mdwhitefieldleather"

A second to p8triot’s post for MD Whitefield holsters. I have same holster in black and am very happy with it.

I've carried mine in two holsters -
1. JM Custom Kydex AIWB purpose built for my WC GP100. It fits my 686 PC like a glove.
2. A Master's Holster OWB skeleton. (On ebay: Leather Holster for RUGER GP100 / S&W K or L Frame Revolver - (6512 Brn)) Also fits perfectly, though the gun sits a bit high so a good belt and some tension is important.

I received my Azula leather holster yesterday. I am impressed. Comfortable, conceals well, and it was only $50.
I will be ordering more.

I carry my snubs, including my 2.5” 686 in a Galco Combat Masters. They’re a well made, nice looking holster that are reasonably priced and easily obtainable.
