Default Pancake holster for SP101 three-inch?

I thought I had this taken care of. I picked up a SIMPLY RUGGED left-handed Silver Dollar pancake holster. Excellent quality. Worn cross-draw it was comfortable to wear holster with revolver. Revolver rode high on my belt. Revolver is secure from nearly all movement.

But . . .

a holster's best positioning for me is vertical or not more than 15-degree cross-draw cant. The Silver Dollar's near vertical position has the SP101 canted backwards - that is, perfect for strong side carry. Its designed in cross-draw cant is severe and it causes holstered revolver to droop away from my body.

So I seek a left-handed cross-draw pancake holster for SP101 three-inch (and while I'm here I'd like another of the same holster for my LCR) that rides high, swallows nearly all of the revolver except grip, and has revolver positioned with about 15-degree cant, but I'll settle for a no-cant vertical carry. I want the holster to be an open top - that is no retaining strap or thumb break to mechanically "keep" the revolver in its holster. My SP101 has had its hammer severely bobbed. While I can shoot it in single action mode, it is essentially without edges or protuberances to catch on clothing.

I am nearly certain this holster pattern is available from several makers. Since my search and Silver Dollar purchase looked to be so right but was, in fact, so close, I think I'll do better if I buy a holster based on someone who carries as I do - and is satisfied with his purchase.

I'm talking about buying two holsters, so I'm open to more expensive products. I'd rather invest modestly, but each holster will cost pennies per day over the rest of my life.

Check out Side Guard Holsters. I don't have experience with their OWB holsters, but I've been using their Quick Clip IWB holster for several years and it still works great. They do offer a crossdraw holster, IIRC.

It's been a while since I've ordered from them, but you can select the cant you want.

Also, they're generally inexpensive compared to some other holster makers, but the quality is very good, IMO. They do have a long wait, though. Last I heard it was about 12 weeks.

I'd suggest contacting them and see if they can make what you need.

The trouble with finding the "right" holster is that you often end up buying several wrong ones first. That's mainly because no two of us are the same size and shape, and have the same range of mobility. What works prefectly for me is gonna be someone else's worst nightmare.
