Need Help with Bucheimer holster ID
What gun(s) was the Bucheimer-Clark 14C-79RH Inside holster designed for? I got this nice Bucheimer holster when I bought an S&W M910 from an auction but it does not fit well.

There are lots of Bucheimer-Clark size charts here on the forum.
Just go up to the SEARCH function and give it a try.

I tried those searches along with many Google searches without any luck with this particular holster 14C-79 model.

Cut-n-paste isn't Phil's 'thing'. Here's a very, very recent post about Bucheimer-Clark (a different company from Bucheimer itself):
Bucheimer Clark holster fit chart - catalog 1975 & 1956

I've an idea. Try putting a k frame S&W revolver in it. If you don't have one, surely you know someone who does.

Especially after the photo hosting debacle, it is less useful for holster model numbers.
14C is the model number for the inside the pants holster. Size code 79 is sometimes given as generic 9 mm automatic. Page 17.
IIRC, the 910 is very slightly different than a mdl. 39.
The first number is the holster number; the second number is the size.

Model 14 Inside Trouser Holster-my information doesn’t show the C- and size code 79 is for .9 m/m Automatic.
This is from a 1962 Bucheimer-Clark catalog so there were a lot fewer .9 m/m autos then.
Regards,
Turnerriver

Hmmm... I'm wondering if it would be for a gen 1 model 39 then. My M3904 doesn't work with this holster either because of the square trigger guard. Thank you, turnerriver. I saw that chart but wasn't able to put it together like you did.

We'd have been quicker on the draw with pics of both holster and pistol. Fitment can be 'obvious' for many reasons.
Bucheimer-Clark itself, a Tandy Brands compay, was gone by about 1978 when the Tandy Brands owner died. That says a lot about which trigger guard it was designed for, because the M59 itself had come out only earlier in that decade (geez, was it a trouble maker for holster fitment, with that giant slide stop).

I found a picture of a similar holster when I did a Google search for a Bucheimer Gun Holster 14C-79LH.

Thank you, SG-688 for the Bucheimer Clark catalog page that ends the mystery.

Once the mystery was solved, I had to buy an SW3953 from another forum member to fill the holster. The 3953 fits perfectly and the holster is very comfortable.
