My rig is finally here. I'm going to play with it for a little bit then I'm going to start the break in and shaping process.
Linn did a pretty good job. He didn't copy the 30s border patrol holster completely. How could he? All he had was a picture I sent him to work with.
My family said it's pretty. But my mom couldn't get past the color of my holster.
I know it looks odd. But I like it.
What happened was when he asked what color I wanted the holster to be. I couldn't remember the name of the color options. To make things worst is the website was having connection issues. So i couldn't pull up the name of the color. So I told him blood red with black edging.
He did exactly that!
The fact he went out of his way to make me a holster based off a design that no one makes any more off a picture. Mixed a dye for a color combination he didn't even offer. Is awesome.
I am happy with it.
If no one likes the color. Well frankly, I don't give a darn.

Holster looks like it is for a larger framed gun than the one pictured , is that the one you are gonna carry in it ?

I'm betting the color you couldn't correctly remember was OXblood red, right? A much darker almost brown, cordovan color.
