This thread makes me want to carry an N-frame on my next grouse
hunting trip. Got several holsters that would work including a Bianchi
belt rig, and a shoulder holster. The last time I carried one while
hunting I used a Milt Sparks belt holster, or a Street Combat holster
from El Paso Saddlery.

Thank you. The grips are Cocobolo by Herrett's.

I like a Galco Horizontal Shoulder rig for a 4” , a 329 or 327 both almost feel weightless.

Here is a Bianchi Cyclone and Hellweg Speedloader pouches with my Model 27. I need to buy a tan belt to go with them now.

I found these grips that look like yours. These are by Jay Scott.
Put them on my Model 10.
Sorry, the wrong picture came up. It should have been the picture of your
gun with Jay Scott stag horn looking grips in your post #20.

I have carried an N-frame on my person just once. I was on a cross country driving trip to Colorado and I wanted my Model 27 Classic with me and, since it was cool weather, I concealed it under a jacket in an El Paso Saddlery cross draw rig. I THINK this is basically the same rig; I still have it in storage.
It was really tricky to conceal but I managed.
The photo shows a pistol in there but the holster was made for my N frame.

As I suggested to Chuck ...... aka Mr Norris to you....... a Bianchi 111/Cyclone cross draw is the way to go!

...... Then there is the 'traditional' way to carry a 1917....
This one recently came out of the "$5.00 Junk Box" at a local gun shop that caters to the black polymer gun crowd. A friend picked it up at that price..... I got it from him for somewhat more, yet still a very good deal. Marked 1917.
