Keith Brown Combat Grips

This is NOT an offer for sale:

I have an Unused as New set of Keith Brown “Combat Style" Grips, to fit a 2 ½” Round Butt K frame, I’m thinking of selling.

I’ve done some on-line research and prices have varied from $225.00 at K.B.’s web page to $495.00 at E-bay. One online retailer did sell a set at $495.00 in October 2018.
So, can anyone offer a solid general price range for these grips?

Why would someone pay more for them than you can buy them new from KB for? Wait time? If that's a dumb question, pardon my ignorance, please.

Lead time can be 24 + months

. Some folks don't want to wait that long.

OldBear-You just need to find the right person. I think this forum has quite a few of them. I paid a premium for the last couple of guns I wanted. It’s the law of supply and demand. I’m sure I just bought too soon and didn’t pay too much. There are 3000 Wilson Combat 1911’s on Gunbroker. There were exactly three guns like the one I wanted.......so I paid a little extra.

My son paid about $600 for a set for his M-29 and decided they were too fancy for daily carry. He sold them for about what he paid. This was maybe six months ago. I think he sold them here.

I saw and liked them, but won't pay that for grips.

He kept a set of Magnas by Brown, still fancy, but they fit his hands better than the target set he sold. I think the price on those was similar.

I sold mine for 200 a couple years ago. They were like new, and I bought them here about two years prior.
