Heiser fit
I'm looking for a Heiser for my Colt Bisley 4 3/4". What gun does it appear this holster will fit?

I think it fits a longer barrel than a 4 3/4”. It’s usually pretty easy to tell if a holster fits a SAA because the ejector rod housing makes an obvious imprint. You can also measure the barrel length by finding where the cylinder sits and measuring from there. Just looking at the photo I’d guess that holster does fit a large frame revolver with a single action being a good possibility. Having the holster in hand of course makes size identification easier.
Regards,
turnerriver

Very likely a large frame DA revolver, as turnerriver states.

Only significant difference in the Bisley vs the regular Single Action Army
is in the shape of the grip frame. Otherwise, if it did fit a SAA, it should
fit your Bisley. However, as John pointed out, it looks like that holster
was made for a longer barrel. Maybe SAA, maybe not.

Anything written on the back ? Look close in good light and you may find it was marked with a pen or pencil and the impression can still be read . What is the model number ? More Pictures , close ups please .

I don’t have it in my hands. I bought it because I liked it and I probably have a gun to fit if it doesn’t fit the Bisley. Pics after I get it. Shipped on Wednesday.
