I rarely take more than 2 guns to the range, and both can fit in a hard-shell, foam-lined case. On the rare occasion I bring more than 2, I've got gun rugs for the rest. I typically also bring eyes and ears, a screwdriver, a rag, adhesive mailing labels (they make for good targets), a graph paper notepad, masking tape, a mag loader, magazines, speedloaders/strips, and ammo (I generally only shoot, at most, 200-300 rounds). I can fit all this in my backpack, though I admit it can make for a tight fit. I buy targets at the range and don't save them after I'm done.

The two Plano ammo boxes hold 9 mm (1150 rounds) and .223 (625 rounds). The cloth case holds the AR and 3 mags for it. I don't have a case yet for the 15-22. The plastic jug is used to collect brass since I reload.
Just a little 'head's-up' for you.....Your bipod is on backwards.

My favorite range bag is the one I got for renewing my NRA membership .
It works so well that when I noticed the NRA still offered them with renewals ... I renewed aqain and got a second bag !
Nice bags , just the right size , at no cost , what's not to like ?
I think the offer may still be available...if you're not a member you might want to think about joining .

Due to the laws here in Australia, we cannot transport everything in the one range bag. Handguns must have a trigger lock or similar disabling device whilst transported. They also must be transported in a "sturdy lockable container". Ammo must also be transported in a separate locked container. So everything else goes into my Police Duty Bag to the range.

Once at the range, the items can then be put into the one bag. But generally, depending on the match/competition, I might take all three.

I use rugs to store and transport guns to the range, shows, etc.

I have been using this bag I got from the NRA several years ago. It appears identical to the Midway bag posted by "Luvmine". Lately I have been thinking about getting a wheeled carrier to put it on. It seems to be getting heavier lately.

I wish I knew who made my range bag I think it was a Winchester promotion. I got it free in 2002. It has really held up well too!

I like to use those little 2 compartment 6 mag soft pistol cases.
They also have room for ammo. I can put two weapons in one bag and two bags in my range bag.

Next they'll require you to have all padlocks have a different key.

There's just so much gear, guns and ammo to carry, it can get pretty unwieldy. I usually use a pistol bag that holds a couple of guns. GPS Handgunner Backpack is one of the best one.

Mine is the MidwayUSA Waxed Canvas Pistol Range Bag Olive Brown. I only take one or two revolvers to the range. It's the ammo that makes it heavy. It's always lighter on the way home. I also bought the matching pistol rug for my model 69.

Need a range cart to carry all that!

My range bag I purchased at a gun show in Medina OH in the early 90's for around $10. It's a CCI promotional bag and has held up very well concidering it's around 30 years old

I've gone through a number of range bags over the last few years. Now I only use an Orca Tactical Range bag for my VP9SK. It's big enough to keep my pistol (in a rug that has 5 mag loops) 10 extra mags in loops, a small trauma/first aid kit, mag loader, electronic ear protection (attached to the strap), small gun cleaning kit, power bank for my phone, small binoculars, Olight, multitool, and a few other little things I might need in an emergency. It has enough room to add 200 extra rounds of ammo if I think I'll need it.

I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my VP9. I've equipped it with the identical contents of the first bag, so I know that whichever bag I grab will contain everything I need.

The only downside to the bag is that it's a bit on the expensive side. But I don't mind paying a few extra bucks to get exactly what I want.

I use hard side cases for all the guns. Ammo and accessories go into an Action Packer and a wooden ammo crate my father made for me. I tend to take 7-12 guns with me when I go. Need a pickup truck.
I own one of the Uncle Mike's range bags. I just use it for carrying my discs for disc golf.

Inside my range bag I use either a typical "gun rug" or "gun sock" for transporting handguns. Either one works for me and for the ranges I shoot at. Basically, it depends on what the handgun is stored in the safe in. In and out, no need to transition.

My large range bags over the years have been a bunch of nondescript duffel bags which were more or less typical airline carry on bags or drag bags. One of mine in present use says "NRA" on it but it's not a real, purpose built range bag, per se, but it's a carry on type of bag. I do have a smaller, purpose built range bag, slot pockets for magazines, etc., but it still has the "new" tags on it. I'll use it eventually. I think.

Rifles ALWAYS are carried to the range in proper rifle cases.

The LA Police Gear Bug Out Bag/Gear Bag has served me well for a while. Under $30 most of time when on sale.
