Anyone familiar with this holster line? I bought an IWB for my H&K P7. I got it Monday, I think, and apparently it was made off-shore, which the website didn't mention. Took a while to get it, in fact so long I'd forgotten I'd ordered it, possibly because it's not a common gun. But it was one of the few (or only) leather IWBs for that model pistol I could find. I believe the model is called Falco. When I got it, it had a customs sticker and a $8.00 VAT. England, maybe?

It's finished well and fits the gun perfectly. It has a belt loop and is fairly concealable for a leather IWB. A handsome holster.

Can't attach a photo at this time. I'll try later.

I have had one or two in the past. Took six to eight weeks if I remember to get it (them). It was many years ago. Good quality for the price. They are made overseas but I don’t remember where. Mine had the Falco label and were nylon holsters. Enjoy!

Be SAFE and Shoot Often!

Here is a link. It's advertised and stamped as "Falco" and under the website "Craft holsters". Possible Craft is the US distributor of Falco holsters?

Tuckable Leather Concealed Carry Holster - Craft Holsters(R)

Hm. I see a lot to like there and do appreciate the creativity that went into the outermost side and its styling/construction. Most Johnny-come-latelys simply copy the rest of us, to a T; whereas it's much harder to get a handsome result using one's own mind as this chap has.

I've bought a couple of holsters from Falco. Not the absolute best, but solid and worthwhile. Good delivery times too.

From the Falco website:
"We chose the best European holster manufacturers that use the finest materials such as Italian leather or German threads and have decades of experience in leather craftsmanship to create a new standard in custom made holsters."

Apparently, they've got a US address in Oregon.

I didn't know when I bought it that it was made in Slovakia. Not that it would have mattered, it was the only leather holster I saw for the P7. Later, looking at their literature on the PPK, I saw a lot of misinformation on that pistol.

I ordered, a week or so ago, a holster for my CZ75 from these folks. It was the only advertised paddle holster I could find. I received an email confirming the order, payment, etc. and it will be made Feb. 17. I see no Oregon connection.

It's under their About Us FAQ given as US Address:

11407 SW Amu St
Suite #10005
Tualatin, OR 97062

Their factory is in Slovakia. though. Don't know what goes on in OR

Importer of record for customs purposes. I called them a while ago because it was an overseas transfer that my bank didn't like. Talked to a very nice Slovak lady. No worries.

At one time, Uncle Mike's holsters were HQ'd in Oregon, as well as "Old World Leather" holsters. I had found one of those last year at a gun show that fit my Star BM, but was used and I wanted to order a new one. Can't find a thing about them anymore. I had even wrote the model number down of the one that fit my pistol, but can only hope I find another at a gun show sometime.

I've bought several from Craft which is an umbrella company representing a number of holster makers. IIRC, the number was nine and most, if not all, were Euro. Craft is a good source to check when looking for holsters that work well with your European brand handguns.

I like their product and find their holsters, belts, and pouches to be a good value. My last Craft Holster order, made by Falco, took 5 weeks to arrive.

Falco makes the holster to order which takes a month and a week for shipping halfway around the world.

I received my CZ 75 holster today. Quality looks good, great fit, and to my surprise, made by Vega Holsters, made in Italy. So I guess it is true that Craft Holsters is a blanket company. Now as I type this, I wonder if Vega is the same as Old World Leather Co. which was also made in Italy and had an office in Oregon.

Charter was marketing Vega holsters, so I bought a couple of
pancakes for my Charter Undercover. I too wondered if there
was a relationship, but with a little research I found that Northern
Italy has hundreds of leather working firms. I had a few of the
Old World Holsters back when they were marketed by the Gun
Mate Product Group of Michael's of Oregon. The Blackhawk CQC
line of leather holsters is also made in Tuscany. All three of these
Italian made holsters are good quality. I would put the Old World
brand at the top.

Tacworld in Florida is also a Falco distributor and sells on eBay.

I directly ordered from Falco what amounts to a copy of the "Miami Classic" style shoulder holster rig with a magazine carrier. Their leather holsters come in different levels of leather ranging from "basic", "comfort", "classic" and "premium".

If you order through one of the USA distributors, that's something to check, which level is it, as what may look like a better price from one retailer over another could be a difference in the leather level.

It took about 6 weeks for my rig to arrive, and while I was very satisfied with the quality and craftsman ship of the leather components (I ordered the "premium" level), the nylon findings on the holster for attaching it to the shoulder straps concern me, as they seem to be on the thin side to me, and I have some doubts regarding their longevity, given the stresses of the weight of the gun being carried and movement.
