I ordered a T Grip for a Ruger Speed Six on 2/12/21, my check posted to my checking account in early March 2021. Still haven't received it. Sent Tyler a text 5 weeks ago, never got a reply back

Things were different when Melvin Tyler was alive & the fellow who ran the shop afterwards (& bought the business from Melvin's descendants) was alive. Problems started shortly after that. BK Grips are a fine replacement.

Ah I see it's the yearly Tyler-T thread and the company is still at it... taking orders and giving the customers the silent treatment. The last time I ordered from them was around 2015 and they took months to deliver. If the website is still up I assume they're still in business. You just gotta ask yourself if you're willing to wait it out or pay more for a vintage one sold online.

I thought long and hard before ordering from Tyler this time. I have been buying T Grips since the late 1970s, when they were $12.95 apiece, I think. I have a T Grip for a Colt Det Special which is a close but not perfect fit for a Ruger Speed Six, that's what I've been using. If BK would make an adapter for a Speed Six, I'd be all over it (I know they do make one for a Det Special)

I have a Tyler on my Cobra and a BK on my DS. If you need a simple black one there is no need to wait until the the chunk of coal under your shed becomes a diamond.

Jeez, that’s 16 months. I ordered about six months ago. Nothing yet.

I'm not sure which BK adapter this one started as, I used a touch of epoxy over the model designation -

Pretty sure it was a D frame originally.
Since the color goes though & through and there's no grain to the epoxy, filing or dremel goes pretty easy.
