DeSantis 3rd Gen. Shoulder Holster

It's been a LONG time since I've been on the site here.

One of the things I wanted most was a good substitute for a Galco Miami Classic for my 4506s, 4586 or my 1006s.

I have looked for a fitted holster for a 3rd Gen. auto, either 4500 or 1000 series for ages.

I gave up for a long time, as I've been told -- repeatedly -- nobody makes it.

This came up recently on a search. For the record, take a look:

Anyone got one for a 4506 or 1006? How does it wear?

I have one for my Model 6946. I tried to put a 645 into it, but the fit is very tight and the thumb snap will not close. I have a Bianchi Scorpion for the Beretta 92 and the 645 fits it perfectly, I do not know if the same can be said for the DeSantis holster. Have you contacted DeSantis and asked?

No, I haven't called DeSantis yet, but will this week.

The last time I talked to Galco, the customer service rep all but suggested my wanting a Miami Classic for an out-of-production pistol like a 1006 was border-line ridiculous.
