Default DO YOU REMEMBER?

Do you remember when you could buy a Lawrence Gunslinger
holster and belt for $21.95? Or the Lawrence 120 Keith for
$9.40? Photo on the left.

Do you remember when you could buy a flower carved holster
and belt from Cathay (Now Hill Country) for $19.95?

How about a Hunter Combat Action flower carved for $6.70?

Or the Jordan Border Patrol holster and River belt by Hume for
$25.75

You could get a free catalog from S. D. Myres just by asking.
I just paid twenty bucks for a copy of one. And/or you could
buy Bill Jordan's book for $5.00 postage paid.

Just a little lesson about inflation.

Still have the Lawrence " Gunslinger" , bought for a brand new Ruger Blackhawk in 1970 .
Didn't take too long to learn that for practical , everyday carry in the field it left a lot to be desired ... Elmer Keith's design was a much better field holster ... it has seen a lot more use . I still have the Ruger Blackhawk and both holsters and the "floral carved " gunslinger belt . Still enjoy strapping it on now and again while watching a good Western ! I've helped Marshall Dillion a time or two .

Thanks for taking us back in the "wayback" machine ... I enjoyed the trip back in time !
