On this and other forums, the introduction of Springfield Armory's SA-35, has caused quite a stir. A few lucky people have now gotten the paws on some, so I thought it might be fun to have a thread for High Power holsters, both old and new.
My own examples are a couple of cheapies with my C-series: A Triple K thumb-break and a reproduction of a German-pattern WW2 flapper.
I think that this particular style of flap holster is among the best. The strap comes up from the bottom, so anything like brush trying to open the holster has to work in two directions. While not as fast as the iconic U.S. 1911's holster, it is way more secure and still reasonably quick. Designed to be worn on the left-side, it is accessible to either hand and from just about any position, such as in a vehicle, etc. It contains a spare magazine, for 26 rounds total in a tidy package on the belt. A couple of companies have imported these. If you get one, check the back of the snap: if uncovered, it WILL scratch the pistol.
The BHP always struck me as a classic pistol. I'm sure some of you have some nicer holsters. Let's see 'em!
