Heiser Model 713 Holster
It has been quite a while since I have posted a holster here. Today I received a "new to me" holster in the mail, bought from forum member Crazyphil. It is a beautiful floral carved Heiser Model 713 holster. On the back of the holster the factory has etched "OP 4", which means the holster was made for a Colt Offical Police revolver with a 4" barrel. It is a fantastic addition to my collection. Thanks. Phil.

boyknip - I have found that a holster made for Colt's OP will generally
fit an S&W K Frame with adjustable rear sight. 4" of course. The one
you bought fit better in a Model 10 with fixed rear sight.

Thanks, Bill. What model is that holster? The detail in the carving is unbelievable isn't it? You have some of the best looking holsters and rigs on the Internet! Thanks for sharing.

Hi latry, sorry it took so long to respond. The holster I posted was a Heiser #752 , the second most expensive in the Heiser catalogue. The most expensive was the Heiser #753. I’ll post s couple of photos. Bill

Wow, they are both extraordinary, but believe it or not, I still prefer the #752. It just oozes of class to me.
