Default Milt Sparks Holsters

I have been trying to reach the Milt Sparks website and am experiencing a problem. When I try I get this message from my Anti-Virus:

"We've safely aborted connection to Home - Milt Sparks because it was infected with URL:TechScam"

I did a search on URL:TechScam and came up empty. Also, I copied the message quoted above for this inquiry and it came out garbled with a bunch of misspellings when I pasted it here. I corrected the message as displayed on my screen.

Anyone else experience this. I viewed and ordered from the website before.

They have been back ordered 6 months for 10 years.
That’s when I bought my first Milt Sparks.

Top Gun Supply has several in stock - have to cursor thru all 3 pages of Milt Sparks products to find them.

Their backlog situation is untenable. If you want really fast service for the best custom holsters out there, contact Ken Null.

Okay, I can get to their website now. I guess they were shut down for the holiday.

Thanks again,

A 6-month wait for a Sparks seems reasonable, when you want the best.

For me it use to be Lou Alessi. Should also add in that Mitch Rosen would be a tie with Sparks they both make excellent leather goods.
(IMHO)

Six months isn’t too bad, I guess.

Del Fatti Leather isn’t adding to the waiting list right now and is currently building holster for people who ordered in July of 2015!

Randall knives have close to the same lead time. Must be nice to be that popular!

I have been carrying a Beretta 92 in a Milt Sparks Executive Companion IWB holster for edc for 5 years and it is not showing any signs of wearing out. The six month wait is worth it to me.

Still using Milt Sparks IWB holsters that date back to the 1980s. They are my EDC holsters for a range of guns.
Summer Specials and Executive Companions.

Nothing wrong with Milt Sparks. However, I agree with those that think Ken Nulls designs are a bit better. His turn around time is a few weeks, instead of months. For those who want to feel violated by an extremely high price, go buy from Top Gun Supply. Their prices are outrageous. I understand that they buy them and keep them in stock.

I have to add my vote for Ken Null. I ordered a UNS model for one then ordered another a short time late. I literally had each in my hands in less than 10 days. Most comfortable holster I have used in 40 years of EDC....

This... He has made a lot of holsters for special details and knows what he is doing. If you want a holster that flat out works and conceals well his GSS is the way to go. Also have several of his cross draws for long drives that are very comfortable as well.

Yes, it's worth the wait. Get the shark skin with matching belt and ammo pouch.

Yes worth the wait.

I’ve ordered directly and waited. Well pleased.

Milt Sparks excels in IWB, while Mitch Rosen has OWB. Both excellent quality. I have several of both.

…..

Brownells has some Summer Special 2 models, brown only. I bought one from Brownells and also ordered the same model but in black from Milt Sparks. 3.5-inch Wilson 9mm ULC Sentinel 1911

MILT SPARKS HOLSTERS SEMI-AUTO SUMMER SPECIAL 2 | Brownells

Also regularly use a Versa-Max 2 for a HK P2000sk, black.

Picked up a used Criterion on GB for a Commander 1911. Rarely see used ones for sale.

Have orders in for:
Nexus, SIG P229
Summer Special 2, SW3913nl
Summer Special 2, Wilson 1911 4-inch lightweight 45
And matching mag carriers.
All in Black.

FWIW Sparks double IWB mag pouches, for my single stack 3913 mags, carry nicely between my Wranglers and my Wilderness Tactical Frequent Flyer belt.
Secure and a bit more comfortable than when carried IWB of the Wranglers, combined with a IWB Summer Special or Executive Companion holster.

Stills conceals well under a cover garment.... like a vest or "fishing style" shirt which are my normal casual spring summer fall casual wear. "I need the pockets" Phone, reading glassed, keys etc..

The Wilderness Tactical belts are infinitely adjustable for fit, so works well for with either IWB or OWB carry.

I've owned a bunch of M. Sparks rigs over the years and they are very high quality holsters. That said, Kramer Leather's Horsehide line is just better IMHO. They have been my go-to for 20 years now - never looked back! Thinner, lighter, stiffer and stronger with better retention and no straps, snaps, screws, springs, or velcro to complicate things. They just are the best IMO.
