I am researching holster options that will work for whenever I’m on the motorcycle (M&P 380 EZ). I haven’t had much luck. I’ve tried the Alien Gear Belly Band, Crossbreed Reckoning AIWB, and a couple other options from my local store. I know there probably isn’t a perfect option for IWB. However, if I can find something with minimal discomfort and doesn’t push into my side, that would be great.

For those who ride, what has worked for you? Currently looking at Eclipse holsters, Clinger, and pocket carry options.

I like leather. My favorite carry holster is the Don Hume H715-M. They offer it for the EZ380.

It can be carried in various strong side positions or cross draw. I favor strong side appendix carry just in front of my hip bone, but have use it in the cross draw position too.

I always used an OWB on bike. Comfortable and not "in me"

What type of bike? Riding positions differ widely between them, what works on a cruiser or touring bike may not work at all on a sport bike. I usually carry a 1911 if I'm going iwb while riding, believe it or not with an Uncle Mike's nylon iwb holster. If I'm carrying a revolver I normally use a leather owb holster with a retention snap. Shoulder holsters work for either. I ride cruisers and touring bikes, doubt anything other than a shoulder holster would work well on a sport bike.

I usually carry in my vest or jacket when riding. If I do go IWB, I use my Alien Gear Shape Shift holster @ 5 o’clock. Get a good jacket or vest, like Fox Creek; perfect with a pocket holster. And no, I don’t care if people think I’m carrying in my vest.

I try to wear a Euro style riding jacket that is incorporates body armor with water and weather protection, not easy when it's hot, but the armor and relatively heavy jacket damp out wind buffet. My jackets have commodious pockets for concealed carry, not the best for quick access, but they are comfortable and waterproof.

I put a lot of miles on my Road King carrying a J frame AIWB in a Lobo offset belt clip. It was comfortable enough. Sometimes my tee shirt would lift up in the wind and expose the gun. I bought a pair of Duluth Trading jeans with the really deep pockets because the gusset in the crotch is roomy on the bike. With the deeper pockets I switched to pocket carry. Probably not an option with your EZ. I mostly carry a Bodyguard .380 now. Pocket carry just feels more secure on the bike.

Shoulder holster is the most comfortable for me riding a FXSTS.

I always carried in my vest or jacket. Both were made for it.

The best I can with what I got

I ride a bicycle. In the cooler weather OWB on my hip works. I'd like to have one of these but I'm too cheap. It's a crossdraw VAM holster.

I’ve logged a lot of miles on my Fatboy with a j frame or Sig in front pocket holster.

I appreciate people chiming in with their responses. So, at first, I thought the Crossbreed Reckoning IBW holster was not going to work. I couldn’t get it situated in a good spot and the claw helped with grip printing, but then the claw itself would print and make it obvious I was carrying. Not to mention the claw made the waist of my pants really tight. I took some time last night to go over so different positions and settings on the holster where you can attach the belt clips. I found good belt clip settings and a spot at about 2:00 or so (right at the front pocket) where the grip tucks into my abdomen comfortably with minimal printing not using the claw. I can also sit on the motorcycle and move around without any discomfort. The only thing I have to do before saddling up is make sure the holster is in a higher position without pants sagging and all is well.

The setup isn’t 100% perfect as far as printing, but I’m sure that’s about impossible unless you’re wearing a jacket or baggier shirt. Even with a T-shirt on, its not super obvious I’m carrying. I can work with that on my posture. I’m glad I took the time to go over some different settings/positions before spending even more money.

Chest rig, no matter your position on bike it is right there. I carried in the top of a tank bag for years where it was right there as well, get off the bike , clip on belt or drop in pocket.
I have a fleet at any time and find that the chest rig is the best all around. Waist carry on a bike is poor at best, and downright dangerous at worst...

My Hellcat in a MS Versamax 2 is comfortable.

Back when I rode I always found one of the jacket pockets (either inside or outside) to be the best compromise. I also used a tank bag too but kept envisioning being pushed off the bike and being separated from the gun. I avoided waist carry while on the bike. My carry gun riding was always a J-frame so it was pretty effortless to carry anywhere. If I was to do it today I might consider something like the Kenai chest rig.

I know no one plans it, but any sort of carry around the waist could cause some serious injuries in the event of a crash. I got rear ended a few years back, and I was carrying a j frame in an ankle rig. The holster had a thumb break, but even with that the force of the impact threw the revolver out of the holster. Luckily the gun was still in my pants leg when I came to a stop. Ankle or a tanker type holster is the only thing I use.
