Holster source for a 6906?
I just bought a 6906 with no idea how hard it would be to find a holster. My normal source was a hard no. Any ideas?

Just Google holster for S&W Model 6906. You will find many choices.

My memory is dim on this, but I seem to remember some Glock holsters fitting the 6906 well...You might try your gun in a few and test my memory... ...Ben

Crazyphil is correct, just Google. You can also look at Craft Holsters, they have 12 for the round trigger guard version 6906, and 15 for the square TG version I have a couple of their holsters and am completely happy with them. They are quick too!
Just be aware the photos are generic for the holster style, but probably will picture a different model of gun, even revolvers. Don't be thrown off by this, you will get a holster that fits the model of gun you order it for!

I'd give lobogunleather.com a try. You can go to their website and get the phone no. I'd be willing to bet they can make one for you. They do excellent work.

As mentioned Craft / Falco
TTgunleather
PJ holster for kydex
I've used all of these and they all make a good product.

FYI, square guard 59xx pistols fit pretty wel in Sig P226/229 holsters if anyone is looking for quality used holsters in boxes at shows and gun stores.

Ed has made a bunch of holsters for the 5904 and 6904 since those were our issued duty guns.
He's made holsters for several on this forum.
Delivery time is usually 1 week. Current price for the one like he made for my Glock is $48. He made it in 1998. Carried it a lot on and off duty and it's still as nice as the day he made it. Ed doesn't have the overhead costs like the big makers have. He does this as a hobby in his basement. Gives him something to do in his retirement years.
Best way to contact him is give him a call and explain exactly what you're looking for.

The Nylon IWB that fit Beretta Model 84 fit perfectly. The "Yaqui Slide" will conform to almost any auto. Bianchi "Black Widow is for the 5906 but fits the 6906 well. The G&G "Ostrich" is a little harder to find and the "Pro-Security" company is out of business I believe. Get it banded at the next gun show and you'll find something perfect. Joe

If you're looking for quality leather, Mr. Ed Rodek has made me a few custom holsters for some of my 3rd Gens over the years. I can speak highly enough of his craftsmanship. He is also super easy to do business with. I highly recommend giving him a shout.

Ebay. Got my Tagua there. It was actually a two pack. I run a lot of Tagua leather. I've been completely happy with it.

Holsters for the Sig P239 fit perfect. Galco 296 or 246(discontinued), which is for the 3913/6906.

Go to either MidwayUSA or Natchez Shooters Supply…they have holster selection guides.
For myself…my favorite go-to holster makers are El Paso Saddlery and Diamond D Leather.

MTR Custom Leather makes many options for the 6906 - either round or square trigger guard - that are worth considering.
Don Hume has a nice IWB model (H715-M) that I used when I carried a 6906 as my EDC about 6 years ago. They still make the H715-M. I own this model for several other pistols including my current EDC - a 3953.

I carried mine in a galco for years. When holster shopping you need to watch for round trigger guards and hooked trigger guard holsters
