Another Wrong Number
I bought a Bucheimer B815 black, RH, spring post type holster for my newly acquired m36 snub. As usual with grips, clips and holsters, it’s wrong one. Could someone give me right model number for the 36 and tell me what the B815 is for.

I found two references, one said 2 1/2" Python, and the other a Chief's Special. The B simply means the holster is black.

Likely you'd've gotten a more complete answer sooner with an image. Now that I've used a visual search of my files I see that yours is the Sentinel and that fitment is noted as being for the M36. What does 'wrong one' mean to you (show us your revolver in it); what folks think is a 'fit' is not necessarily how the holster was designed :-).
This is is from the company's 1963 catalog. The style is amongst the most common holsters by J.M. Bucheimer that one will find on eBay, for example.
