Default Manual Safety on M&P’s and Safariland Holster

Interesting benefit to the paddle safety and the Safariland holster with the lever retention. To draw the gun the little lever has to be moved back to unlock the gun. As I do that and draw the gun out, the thumb that presses the lever automatically flips the paddle safety down. I can’t imagine drawing that weapon with the safety remaining on.
