Bamabiker hits a homerun for me
I saw the holsters bamabiker had for sale on the forum a couple of weeks back. One was a nice lined 1911 holster with basket weave in a brown color. I contacted him and asked if he could make one with a covered trigger and strap.
I sent a picture of my belt and asked if he could make something that would complement the belt.
Here's what he sent me. Shown with a 1911 from 1918. My friend asked me why I had a S&W buckle displayed with a Colt. My response was "'cause".
It's beautiful. Here it is with a 1969 Colt government in .38 super. This ones ready for the BBQ.
and a series 70 Mark IV polished nickel.
bamabiker hit this out of the park for me. I like how the brown thread blends in and doesn't become a focal point. The extra pattern on the strap was a nice touch as well.

Very nice, for some reason a 1911 in 38 Super always makes my eyes light up.

Very nice, can you carry your 1911 cocked and locked and still strap it down?

The above was my first thought when I looked at that strap configuration. I'm sorry but 1911'S are to be carried in condition 1!Beautiful holster though. He does fine work.

I have had holsters made for a 1911, M27 3 1/2 inch and a M19 snubby. All were done in a timely matter and of excellent quality.

Nothing to be sorry about. I know what condition 1 is and the holster strap will fasten either way. The pistols weren't loaded, so no need to cock unless for display only. I'm just showing off bamabiker's craftsmanship.
