Default Holster

It has several characteristics of a Geo Lawrence holster, however, most Lawrence holster were stamped on the back. Did you look under the toe for a mark?

Lee is right as usual, I believe it’s a model 211 holster, a plain version of this one. They came with chamois lining and rawhide edge lacing, your holster also has a covered back which may hide the stamp although under the toe would be a good place to look as Lee suggests.

Regards,

Hi, very similar but seems to be made with a lighter leather than the Lawrence, maybe that's why it looks like they used 2 layers, or more simply the back was re lined.

Agreeing with your other responses, it's a Lawrence 211 in every detail, missing its maker's mark. This page is from a 1970s Lawrence catalogue, and missing the holster's description but the matching info from earlier catalogues does not illuminate except to i.d. it and give a price (and mention it's made from leather!).

Thanks to all for the info. I did check under the toe- no mark. I agree it's a Lawrence 211.
