Default Identify P.08 Holster Please...

I bought this holster on Ebay recently. The seller said it was for a P.08, but he did not know it's country of origin. East Germany, Bulgaria, Finland, Russia,??? It appears to be post WWII, and European in origin. I cannot read or identify the green stamps on the inside.

A P.38 definitely does not fit.

Can anyone add any information?

It's a French Army MAC-50 holster, Model 1948 GT2. Specifically, it's the police mofel, because it's made of black leather. Click on the link FYI.

Ask, and it will be answered ! Very impressive, gunbarrel— my father told me to read the three P.C. Wren books about the French Foreign Legion when I was a kid, Beau Geste was the best known of them. There was recent fake news that the Legion was already fighting in Ukraine.
Regards,

Update; my P.38 and Beretta M92 pistols do indeed fit the holster.
