At the beginning TV Detective Harry Bosch carred a Model 1911 in a leather Belt slide holster with a thumb break retaining strap.

Later episodes Bosch changed to a Plastic belt holster with matching two magazine pouch.

Anyone catch this change ?

Yes I caught that during the first series (prior to the Bosch Legacy series). I posted about it, trying to figure out which brand the leather holster was.

Is the series any good? I've considered watching it.

Bosch is one of the few things worth watching.

We just started watching the last season. Good, worth a watch but not as good as the original seasons IMO.

I am pretty sure Welliver wears whatever wardrobe passes out to him.

I don't know about the most recent season, but he always carried his spare mags backwards. Everyone in the show did. Apparently, their advisor was giving them bad advice.

I noticed the mag carry also; it's definitely not how I carry mine but I guess if it suits you it's OK. I did enjoy the series.

I stopped watching after a couple episodes, and read only a couple of the Michael Connelly books, because the show and books are uncomfortably close in describing the dysfunctional LAPD internal politics.

I thought the original series was entertaining and well done, but I can't stomach Bosch Legacy. It seems to me that they hired awful writers and it seems even the actors have forgotten how to act. Very cringe.
