Getting Harry's revolver is no problem. But OH MAN...try and find the shoulder holster!!! I had one back in the early 80s. Very nicely made and it even had the cutout for the cylinder. It was kinda tricky to adjust, because it used leather ties to make the adjustments with. IF you can find one now, they are selling for $500-$1000!!!
More than the cost of a Model 29!!!!

Great holsters - they stay close to the body and are very comfortable. I have one for a 4" 29, but I carry a 4" 686 in it.

Who manufacturered this holster and does anyone have any photos available?

Thanks.

Okay...here's a thought...IF there is enough interest in this holster, there's a chance I MAY be able to get a holster company to duplicate it. Not sure what it would cost, though. Would depend on how many wanted it. Just a thought. I'm contacting the holster company now to explore the possibilities.

Deputy,

I would be interested if it is lined, I have some beautiful older 29's 6 inch and a older 27 that I carry off-duty in a Uncle Mikes shoulder rig, let me know a price.

Thanks
Chuck

A friend of mine loaned me one back in the late 1970s...that was THE fastest shoulder rig ever made for a long barrel Smith. It had a very interesting attachment strap to the belt...it was very wide, kind of tear drop shape. The holster was made to ride very low with the cylinder just above the waist, not way up high with the grip under the arm... The rear attacmnet strap was meant to take the weight, not the shoulder straps..

I believe the original company who made the holster was Cattle Barron Leather who then went out of business and then Lawman started producing the rig...or it was the otherway around. The second company also did the holster in black and was called the Marauder...was even made for 1911s.

I'd be interested, but only for K and L frames.

I don't think that will happen

It would be a VERY limited run and ONLY for N-frames. Maybe if it becomes more popular it could be done for the smaller frames or maybe it would become a standard catalog item. I just want to see if we can get it in N for right now. Harry never carried the smaller guns

Sign me up.

I've been using a Bianchi X-15 I replaced the elastic strap with a leather strap that has a belt attachment. It's real nice but I'd like one like the Lawman.
