Post Cleaning Leather

I have a couple holsters that have gotten pretty dirty.
Anyone got any suggestions on what to use to clean the crud off?
I've tried saddle soap and it didn't work very well.

Here's a link to a page at the Tandy site. I'd try the Fiebing's Glycerine Soap first. The Lexal-PH is also a good product. Whatever you use, let dry for several days before using any conditioners or finishes. I happen to like Pecard products to condition and protect but I'm sure many other products out there are just as good.

I've tried finding this type of stuff locally but all of the leather stores round here seem to have gone out of business.

Great question and good links, I've got the same problem with several old holsters.
It's never a waste of time on this site.

Thanks for the replies. I stopped at Wallyworld on my way home this afternoon, never thought to look there, and FleetFarm was already closed.
I'll have to pick up at least one of these tomorrow and see how they work.
