S&W Holster I.D.
Hi:
While packing I came across a Smith and Wesson Holster.
The holster is a "Jordan Border Patrol" type, black color with "B24" and "24" stamped on the back. Looks to be used very little.
Anyone know what era? I remember Smith and Wesson Holsters in the early 80s but not this type.
A Model 19 4", a Model 681 4", and a Ruger G-100 4" fits this holster.

If a Model 19 and a Model 681 or GP-100 fits,, the M-19 will fit a little loose, or you are probably stretching the leather with the larger guns.
The holster should not properly fit both frame sizes although the L-frame and the GP-100 are about the same size and normally use the same holsters. The M-19 is smaller.

S&W leather
I bought a Model 28 years ago. It's an N frame I believe. Got rid of the 28 years ago but kept the holster. It's marked 21 24. I have a Model 686 now & it fits the holster pretty well. I wonder who made the holster for S&W?
