This is a slightly used Kimber Classic Royal (series 1 of course) customized by John Harrison. The owner intended to use it for IDPA but injuries from a car accident is keeping him from shooting full power .45acp.
The slide is polished blued by Kimber, John Harrison added the Novak rear sight and fiber optics front. He also installed a match bushing.
The barrel is Kimber and it is ACCURATE. I've shot this gun standing offhand at 40 yards and got 4" groups consistently. A better shooter can get tighter results.
The frame has the following modifications:
Briley welded on magwell, blended to the frame. The black marks in the pictures are oil or grease.
Checkered front strap 30LPI
Ed Brown beavertail grip safety
Ambi thumb safety (I believe Cylinder and Slide)
Ed Brown main spring housing
Hard chrome finish
Round hole hammer
Short trigger - less than 4 lbs.
Replaced all internal pins and fire control system with quality parts
Hex grip screws
Cocobolo double diamond grips cut to match magwell
Come with 2 Chip McCormick magazines and pistol rug.
The owner didn't fire a single shot through this gun. I fired all 200 of the shots through this very accurate and reliable pistol.
