Mod 38 Bodyguard Airweight # J 156976 mfg. in 1974. Excellent condition.
Light edge wear on end of muzzle, end of ejector lug, sides of trigger guard, high edges of thumb piece, and two small wear spots on grip frame backstrap which shows in one of the pictures.
The cylinder sticks a little sometimes when opening. It's not stuck closed and it's not a major problem. I think this is due to a slighty short center pin or the bolt. Excellent shooter with barrel & charging holes in great condition. Very low round count.
You will not receive the gun with the grips shown on it, which are pre 1966 Bodyguard high horn grips. It's being sold with the original numbered grips shown in a few of the pictures. The original grips have some scuffs on them but the gun is in great shape.

I have priced this at an attractive price under $400 to try to get a quick sale to get a flat latch pre Mod 38 that I've been lusting for. I hate to sell it. No trades, please.
