I am interested in selling my 4583 TSW pistol with accessory rail. I have been using it with a tactical light, by my bedside, for over a year. I recently determined that my carry gun would be a lightweight Commander, and decided that my bedside gun should have the same trigger system. So I got a Springfield Operator with a tactical picatinny rail. Not wanting to be confused with two very different fire control systems (and also needing the money), I decided to sell the 4583.
It still has the tactical rail, which I found useful. If desired, the factory can remove the rail and plug the mounting holes, but I did not choose this option. I'm told that a holster designed for the Sig 220 would fit this gun with the rail, but I did not choose to carry this gun in a holster. The gun's finish is excellent with only a few very light markings. The rails show almost no wear. The frame is in really good shape, with only light impact marks from the barrel cycling. I have photos of this. The gun has fired approx. 200 rounds while with me, and has not malfunctioned even once. That's the best part about these 3rd Gen. guns. They are incredibly reliable.
Gun comes with original box (same serial number), two mags, all original paperwork including still-blank warranty card. NOTE: Tactical light shown in photo is not included.
