Default 32 #2 type 4 "Old Army" S&W

1864 Smith & Wesson #2 "Old Army" type 4, .32 rimfire caliber, 6 inch barrel, single action revolver, production in Civil War era, blued finish, varnish rosewood grips, serial #16838. The revolver shows 30-50% original blue going brown with some light pitting and erosion, on the barrel and cylinder. The barrel address is visible. The patent markings on the cylinder are visible. The varnish wood grips are good with 70% varnish, some edgewear, some slightmarks. The hammer shows traces of case hardening, the action good, the bore very good. All matching. One pin of the three is missing on top-see photos. $725 and I will ship.
