Up for sale is a blued Smith & Wesson 27-2 (N prefix serial number) with a 5" barrel. Finish is 98% with a faint turn line. I have put 50 rounds through it since I got it in a trade a year or so ago. $700 shipped to an FFL that will receive from an individual or $675 FTF in the Houston area.

Trades (+\- cash):
1. S&W 625 or 25 in .45 colt (4" barrel preferred)
2. Colt 1991 (new rollmark) in stainless
3. Zeiss Conquest scope
4. Leupold VX-3 scope

Have a Ziess scope, way in back of safe. What part of Houston are you located?

To answer a few questions:

-The front sight insert is white. I don't know if it is an original or a replacement.
-Lock up and timing are good. The only mechanical complaint I have is that the cylinder catch is a little stiffer than my other 27-2
-There are a couple of very minor areas of finish loss under the grips. 98% or better still applies
-The stocks are not original to the revolver
-I do not have the box
-I am not the original owner
