I have 2 pre-17s that have been reblued. One is a 4 screw and the other is a 5 screw. Both in excellent mechanical condition and very accurate. I'll take $475 shipped for either one. (both SPF) Next I have a 18-2 in 90% condition, little blueing loss on muzzle and high spots. Locks up very tight and is very accurate. It comes with a set of walnut targets in excellent condition. I'll take $550 for this one shipped.

Can you tell me who did the refinishing of the K-22's and when it was done?

It was done by a local gunsmith about 6-8 months ago. Most people couldnt tell, except that there too nice. It's the old school reblueing, almost looks black. I have 15 K22s and need to thin a few out.

The 5 screw was 1955 and the 4 screw was 1956, if I remember correctly. Think the pre 4 screw was only made 3 yrs(1955-57), then Smith started putting model numbers on them.

Happen to have a K22 that locks up properly that might not be so pretty and are willing to trade a decent M36-2?
I want a K22/.22 Smith in a bad way, wish I had the money at this time.

These are the least pretty (collectable) of the bunch. No intrest in a Model 36, but I need a set of K/L frame RB Combats. May consider a nice set in partial trade.

I assume not boxes? Also, the 18 looks like a matter finish. I thought they were all polished blue. Or is it just worn off?
thanks

The 18-2 hasn't been reblued. It's original finish. Sorry, no boxes with any of them.
