considering trading my beloved Taurus PT99 (adj. sight model). For those not in the know, it is essentially a Brazilian made (on Beretta tooling no less) Beretta 92 with adjustable sights, the difference is the Beretta safety is a de-cocker - the Taurus is a true safety and can be carried cocked and locked or hammer down, with the safety on or off. It is blue, with black Taurus rubber grips and the following extras:
1. complete PT92C (fixed sights) stainless steel bright polished finish slide assembly with barrel, full length guide rod and (2) extra recoil springs - great for carry as the barrel and slide are 1/2 an inch shorter, but fit the standard frame
2. B Square rail mount system for optics that mounts using the take-down lever hole
3. LOTS of mags (10):
- (1) 10 rd. MecGar brand
- (9) 15 rd. rebuild kits - (1) original Taurus, (5) Ram Line brand and (3) unmarked
4. for the right offer, I can include a Tasco 30mm RDS or 4x compact scope with rings, your choice
Trades? In possible order of preference:
1. tactical HD shotgun - certainly the new KelTec would be top choice. Specs on others would be preferably an auto-loader and LH action or bottom eject, since I am a leftie. Detachable mag ones like the Escort would be nice. A side by side shotgun with external hammers will be acceptable as well.
2. 1911 variants .45 acp or 10 mm
3. Glock 21 - regular or SF with lots of mags
4. semi auto rifles/shotguns - AR variants, AK's, Saigas,etc. - humor me here
5. S&W revolver - .357/.38 snub, airweight/polymer frame preferred but other calibers (.41, .44, .357) and configurations considered
6. other autos as well - no .40 S&W's unless they are Sig's or Kimber's and no cheap .25's please.
I will consider combining more than one trade to equal trade value, let me know what you have to offer. In particular, I'd be interested in a .22 pistol or revolver as part of the trade. Mainly looking to trade, but since I must list a selling price, let's start at $1000 and that's firm - especially for trade offers. It may seem high, but it is a vintage well-cared for piece, lots of extras and with low round count I believe. Cosmetically it is 9/10 IMO. I actually do not think I personally ever fired it. No hurry to sell and if no offers interest me, I may just keep it. No pic, sorry no camera. I ask all offers, questions, comments be done through pm's - please do not clutter the thread. FTF DROS transfers at J.R. Sports in Livermore, SF East Bay Area, CA if local or shipped to your ffl dealer at your expense on both sides. Thanks for looking.
