The day was, I owned seven 45acp revolvers, and swore this would be the last sold. The others are gone, so here it is. I don't know who did the work. Maybe Jovino, maybe somebody else. Whoever, they knew what they were doing. The barrel was chopped to 2 3/4" and front sight remounted/calibrated, square frame reshaped to round, ball-detent lockup, trigger smoothed, hammer spur reshaped. When I first bought it, off it went to the factory where they fixed some end play, replaced springs, and beveled the charge holes (receipt will be included). They didn't want to refinish it because of the ball lockup, so it next went to Ford's for their Master Blue finish (receipt included). Then I fitted a set of Spegel RB combats (they come with the gun, along with it's original rubbers). When I got it back, I fired 72 rounds of lead reloads through it, cleaned it, put it in a bore-stor, and it's sat in my night stand ever since. It is in beautiful shape with just the tiniest turn line. I simply don't have the heart to shoot it, so I'm selling it. With the revolver will come a Andrews Leather McDaniel II IWB holster that's been worn a few times, but is in very good condition. Also my moon clip tool, and +150 moon clips. Don't need them anymore.
I don't know where you will find a nicer example of a chopped 25-2. This one is simply beautiful. I just learned, however, that it requires skills I don't possess to photograph a deep blue revolver. I did my best. First "I'll take it". $995 shipped. USPSMO is best, but a check is OK if you can wait for it to clear.
