Serial number is K 2178xx, which puts it in the 1954 production.
Condition is 98% with no obvious rust, no pitting, but some very minor holster wear on muzzle and front edge of frame around barrel and in front of trigger guard. Bore is pristine, as are the chambers. Screw slots are sharp and undamaged. Functioning is 100% but I have not fired the revolver. I will hazard a guess that it's very accurate. It's a Target Masterpiece, after all.
The action is tight, and I expect a good cleaning would be in order immediately upon receipt. I have not detail stripped the revolver and do not intend to do so.
I wish it had the original grips, but it doesn't. The grips on it fit very well and have deep, nicely figured color. No numbers at all inside grips; checkering is clean and sharp, no obvious damage to wood other than one small groove at bottom rear of left grip.
I'm asking $750 (shipped) within the lower 48 to your favorite FFL dealer. Common carrier only; I prefer FedEx.
