I am changing the direction of my collecting efforts toward older large froame Smith and Colt revolvers and older stock Colt Semi's. Here is a rough list of my available guns:
Winchester 1873 Rifle, set trigger 38-40, 24: Oct. factory letter (1888)
Winchester 1885 (Low wall) Rifle, .22 WCF (rare)Lyman Tang, 22", (1892)
Winchester 1886 Rifle, 40-65, 26" oct. (1894)
Winchester 1887 Shotgun, 10ga., 26: bbl (shortened?) (1889)
Winchester 1892 Rifle, 32 WCF, RB Button mag (1907)
TRADED, thank you
Winchester 1892 SRC, 25 WCF, tang sight (1915)
Winchester 1894 SRC, 32 Win Spc,20" bbl threaded for Maxim silencer with thread cover & loading tool (poacher gun?) (1900)
Winchester 1895 S[prting Rifle, 30-40. 22" bbl, Lyman peep. 1915)
The Smiths high on my list are:
Reg mag, Triple lock, 1917, pre 27, 28, 24.25 etc.(I like N frome 44s and 45acp. Also interested in pre war or 1946 pre 10 snubbie.
In Colts: King Cobra, Anaconda, Lawman V, Trooper I (or "37
") series 70 or earlier 1911 (esp commander)
I prefer unaltered gun in 4" or shorter (if available). The exception would be a nice vintage shortened 44 or 45acp. like a 1917 snubbie.
I haven't graded antique guns in a long time so I will have to let photos and description. I have some photos of all my Winchesters. These, unfortunately, are not "Fine" condition although they are quite presentable--especially compared to what I see at gun shows.
If you have an interest in one of these Winchesters ahd have something on my "want" list, please PM me with your email address...I will respond with mine. I am looking to trade retail $ for retail $ value.
Thanks for reading. Randy
