I have a 1992 Model 629-3 Classic 6.5" barrel that has a Leupold scope mount with Leupold rings holding a Simmons 2-7X pistol scope. These Japanese made scopes are really bombproof against magnum recoil. I have the correct rear sight on order with Smith and will supply that. Also, the grub screws that close off the scope mount holes. This revolver has 50 rounds fired. Comes with a camo shoulder holster rig that holds the scoped revolver with a closer flap. There is barely a turn line on the cylinder and everything is very tight. Barrel to cylinder clearance .005.
Excellent single and double action trigger. I am interested in a 4-5" barrel version of almost any .44Magnum. I don't hunt and this 6.5" barrel is a tad too long for my taste but excellent for a pistol hunter. What do you have?
