WITHDRAWN...Tikka Master Sporter .22-250...WITHDRAWN
WITHDRAWN FROM SALE...Here's a rare one, a late-80s Tikka Master Sporter in .22-250. The Master Sporters, built on the 595 action, were aimed at the European high power rifle competition market and were phenomenally successful there, with just a few sold in the US. Usually you find them here in 308, occasionally in .223; mine is the only .22-250 example I've ever encountered. It's in great shape, all original but for two nice custom adds, the big aluminum bipod attachment plate and the easy-turn stock adjustment knob. The scope is a 30mm 16-X Super Sniper with a mil-dot reticule in Warne fixed rings, the bipod a Harris, the total round count 342 through the original factory barrel. It's very slick and scary accurate and I love it, but I just never shoot it these days. Tikka, by the way, is charging a MSRP of $1700 for a new version of this gun built on the cheaper, flimsier T3 action developed from the 595 by Beretta after they bought Sako/Tikka.
I'm open to trades and reasonable offers. An "I'll take it" statement posted here in the forum trumps any other kind of communication. My price for the whole package is $1200 shipped to your FFL...WITHDRAWN FROM SALE
